Can You Dig It !?
I don't quite know why I did this, but THERE IS NO TURNING BACK!
Ink drawing combined with digital coloring, elements of scanned old comic books, and self generated halftone patterns. I think Captain Evening digs it.

Ms Victory vs Centennia Round 2, in color
Comic update will follow tomorrow- with two whole pages!
In the meantime, I colored this:
The powerhouse of AC Comics’ All-Female super-hero team FemForce against the most powerful hero of the Beholder universe! But really, they are just being played by some sinister force that is manipulating them. Can they shake it off before they destroy the whole city???

Higher! Further! Faster! More!
Inspired by Kelly Sue Deconick's portrayal of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, Earth's Mightiest Hero!
In her current adventures, she's far away from earth, on a mission in deep space.

Beware The Combinator!
Idea for a new villain, combining the powers of Captain Evening and his fellow heroes!
Wings and legs of the Griffin, face and arm of the skeleton, another arm and the mask of Captain Evening, armor of the Blue Knight and Centennia, and the scarf and jeans of Jenny Everywhere.
Kind of like Marvel's Super-Skrull and Adaptoid, or DC’s Amazo. Could be fun…

Hercules
Hercules, the Lion of Olympus, inspired by the 1980s run of Avengers by Stern, Buscema and Palmer.
I believe that John Buscema also designed this particular outfit. Since he liked drawing Conan comics very much, it's not a surprise that Herc was his favorite Avenger. (Or the one he hated the least when drawing all those damn Avengers).

The Wasp 1960s style
THE BEHOLDER’s homage to the 1960s style Wasp, inspired by Tales To Astonish and those early Avengers stories by Jack Kirby, Don Heck and friends.

Jenny Anywhere at Night
Jenny_Anywhere is a character that is free to use for anyone. She’s playing an important role in a future BEHOLDER story.
Created by Carter-Ethan Rankin, she has the same basic public domain status as Jenny Everywhere, who she is based on: The character of Jenny Anywhere is available for use by anyone, with only one condition. This paragraph must be included in any publication involving Jenny Anywhere, in order that others may use this property as they wish. All rights reversed.

Ultimate FF
Inspired by Marvel’s Ultimate FF by Joshua Hale Fialkov and Mario Guevara.
I liked the odd line-up and the fact that Sue Richards was leading the team. The characters were interesting and intriguing. The art was a bit inconsistent but had a nice energy.
Unfortunately, the series was just cancelled, but a couple more issues are coming out.

The Enchantress
From the original Journey Into MISTERY, Amora aka The Enchantress has been around in the Thor comics since the Lee / Kirby years. Asgardian goddess, schemer and seducer, she even went to the Secret Wars, fighting on the side of evil. Perhaps she's just acting out because she has a huge crush on the thunder god.

Ultimate FF
Inspired by Marvel’s Ultimate FF by Joshua Hale Fialkov and Mario Guevara.
Any team lead by Sue Richards, featuring Dr Doom with techno hooves, and a very goofy Iron Man, plus Machine Man and The Falcon, has my vote. Alas, the series was just cancelled. Womp woomp…

Terry Tornado wishes a Happy Independence Day!
Terry Tornado is an ex-wrestler and super-hero, and probably the most patriotic hero of the BEHOLDER Universe. What could be more fitting than having her wish you a great holiday weekend!

Ms Victory vs Centennia
It’s a super-brawl! Ms Victory, from AC Comics’ FemForce, battles The Beholder’s very own Centennia, as the earth is shattering from their impact!
Originally, I had planned to do an Octobriana / Ms Victory battle, but the Spirit of the Russian Revolution didn't quite seem in AC Comics' powerhouse's weight class. I picture her more like a stealthy commando fighter or someone with really big guns (ahem).
So I decided to go for my very own character Centennia from Tales To Behold! Now, these two powerhouses won’t have to pull any punches… let’s just hope the city will still stand afterwards.
