In pursuit to draw all the main characters of AC Comics’ FemForce, I’ve finally gotten around to do Tara the Jungle Girl. Nowadays she has the super-power to grow to enormous heights, but I for my part preferred the simpler version.
Perhaps I was in the mood to do a tribute on her because in Tales To Behold 5, my very own jungle heroine, Jung-La, will make her debut in the pages of Tales To Behold, (for some early sketches, visit here) and I'm already working on those pages. There's much to come!

Tales To Behold 2, Page 31: In Dr Brain's Kitchen (2 of 3)
And we see Dr. Brain's daughter again, Jesse, who's studying Witchcraft at NYU. Cool under pressure, and has always a wise crack (or spell) handy. Goes by Wicked Witch. |

Villain of the Week: Iron Jaw
Long before Richard Kiel, there was another metal-jawed super-villain, called Iron Jaw. He first appeared in Boy Comics #3 April 1942. He technically fell into Public Domain as the publisher Lev Gleason Publications doesn’t exist anymore. According to Public Domain Heroes Wiki, the creator might have been Charles Biro.
AC Comics has revived the character in their FemForce series.

Spun Off Tribute Art
These are characters from the fantasy webcomic Spun Off (definitely nsfw),
which is indeed a spin off from Reinder Dijkhuis' epic Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan saga.
It's a universe of Elves, Fairies, gods and demi-gods, many of which don't see the necessity of clothing, and who could blame them.Pictured are some of the main characters, Aléas, Scallop, Asper, plus the gods Emea and the awesomely ityphallic Wakatonka.Done with the utmost respect for the copyright of the original creator, all copyright Reinder Dijkhuis.

Many Faces of Jenny Everywhere: Jenny Everywhere Sings Off
Homage to the cover of the mini-comic Jenny Everywhere Signing Off, by Nigel Palmer. It was too somber for me so I changed the title (and thus content) slightly.
Since she’s in the buff here anyway, I lifted the colors from her appearance in the naturist comic The Bare Pit.

Journey Into Misery 4, Page 37: Epilogue in the Bedroom (And Crossover!)
This cozy Epilogue is a crossover to Tales To Behold 3, in which we see the whole story what Captain Evening really was up to. And we will start serializing it very soon! But first, we'll have an Epilogue to the Epilog next week… |
