Powerful Sisterhood

Even the most cosmic of beings knows by now: What’s a superhero(ine) life without friends? Having the support of your peers is not only needed to stay alive in this dangerous business, but super-friends are also good for your super-soul, of course!

The following story is a bit of a follow-up to an older adventure where these three were defeated and captured by the ultra-powerful Lady Wyvern (during the “Super-Bachelor” Saga). Since then, there seems to be an invisible bond between them!

Today’s “cover” art is by BadAttitude-ink on DeviantArt. Our adventure features the mighty Valor Girl and Wonder Warrior by Johnny Gans, and Lash’Ira by Tony Smith.

The Invisible Girl

Sue is one of those characters who actually grew and matured through her history. From a damsel in distress, often wearing an apron over her costume when making food for the family, (not shining a good light on how some of these early Marvel creators perceived women) she became a fierce fighter under John Byrne, when she changed her name to Invisible Woman, and has been ever since. Kinda neat to see this development as a whole.

Dark Ms Marvel (Dr Karla Sofen / Moonstone)

From the days of Siege and Dark Avengers in the 2000s, when she took up the mantle of Ms Marvel in Norman Osborne's Dark Avengers. 

I also drew her in her classic 1980s Moonstone look and her Meteorite costumee from the original Thunderbolts run.

Yellowjacket

Rita DeMara stole the identity and abilities of Yellowjacket in the 80s during the "Under Siege" storyline as one of the Masters of Evil. Thereafter, her story becamekind of convoluted, but she fought on the side of the Avengers a couple times.
