Ballad of Anywhere P27: All Hands on Deck!

Whew! Can you believe it, watchful reader– page 27 already and it is far from over! Could this be the longest comic THE BEHOLDER has ever shared with you?? A shiny no-prize goes to the True Believer who can answer this question!

All of you can, of course, name the various heroes on this page, but just in case, for the new arrivals, we added some name tags. The others, of course, are Jimmy Wherever, Mysto the Space Wizard, Human Tree, and the Officer of the Bureau of Singularity!

Meanwhile, we hear you, we all might need a slight break from all this excitement, so we will switch gears for another, shorter yarn next week! Look forward to it, meandering mortal!

Ballad of Anywhere P26: Welcome Reinforcements

Indeed, our other friends have awoken! Mysto has succeeded in his Spirit Quest to find the soul of The Human Tree, so he can transform back into a … human form again! This, our long-lost tale from Adventures of the Human Tree is finally complete and concluded!

Now hurry up, and help out with the current impending catastrophe!
Thankfully, other friends have already jumped into action, such as Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, because New York is going mad!

Cast Page Updating

UPDATE: The page is updated! More additions may come, but for now, it gives a good first overview of our beloved universe!
The BEHOLDER is trying to catch up, just a little, cause what does it even mean in the grand scheme of things. But the cast page has been hopelessly out of date, pretty much from the beginning of this cosmic hub.

So we wanted to let you know something is in the works, an update with more characters, a more current structure, and hopefully a more helpful guide. Don’t expect it too soon, don’t expect anything too miraculous, but we are excited to share a new overview of our world. Look out, world, something is moving!
Characters on this preview include those by Jay Epps, Johann-Octavius Gans, James Damaged, Clyde Preston, Michael P, and others

Ballad of Anywhere P25: The Visual Quest

Yes, when you are searching for something important, it helps to look. With your eyes. If you have any.

Thus, our heroes set out to find these dangerous disturbances in our reality, to save everything around us from unraveling! Godspeed, you ragtag gaggle of go-getters!

Ballad of Anywhere P24: Rambunctious Recap

Time for a recap, even though our dramatic personae can hardly contain their energy. Things need to happen, in order to preserve our reality!

It makes THE BEHOLDER content to not only see TWO Shifters, but also the Officer of the Bureau of Singularity again. Your Cosmic Observer has some good memories of past stories with the Bureau.

The two earthlings, Jimmy Wherever and Kelly (formerly the Invincible Woman) have shown their usefulness in the past, too. The robots however, seem not the most competent.

Ballad of Anywhere P23: Awakening

It’s always the same: the moment you don’t watch – or BEHOLD, – something exciting happens.
In order of appearance: Mysto the Space Wizard, Rodney Rabbit, and The Human Tree.

Superheroes of the BEHOLDERVERSE

We pause our usual updates (again?!) to share with you a little introduction, an “intro chart” of our many friends that can be found at the Fortress of Evening! (A glorious penthouse headquarters in Midtown, in the Big Apple!) We have two main groups, Captain Evening and the Odds, and Section P, the latter originally from the UK and a brainchild of my colleague James Damaged.

Furthermore, there are many other guests that visit more or less regularly, unaffiliated or from other groups (below with green caption boxes), we present you here a completely random representation of three of the brave and beloved fellow fighters for good.

They frequently come from other corners of the Multiverse, and even other creators – Mixtli is by tulio19mx, Queen Betty by Jay Epps, Valor Girl by Johann-Octavius Gans. We must also not forget to point out that Ionic Angel and Burst Lion are from the creator of the same name.
