A little extra note: the pages are differently proportioned as a nod to the original inspiration, the “Bare Pit” / “Louie & Zoot“ comic strips by Grace Crowley, and more recently, Greyfriar’s Isle and other online comics by Reinder Dijkhuis.

It is summer in New York, and it is very hot. So it is time to get rid of all clothes and visit The Mighty Bares Naturist Camp! Please enjoy this little romp before we get back to our Anywhere storyline!

Mr Mighty, former superheroic mentor to Captain Evening, is the proprietor of the site. This time, it’s Captain Evening, Lady Venus, Burst Lion and Merv the Griffin who made the trip. Just like in real life, they are going through a heatwave. Thankfully, there is a pool…

Merv the Griffin, summoned by Dr Brain, is on a mission to destroy Captain Evening, but he doesn’t know what a “Captain Evening” is! Fate had it, he smashed into the home of the very person he’s looking for. The Captain is too honest not to admit that he’s his target.

At that time, the intrepid Jenny Everywhere was around, too!

The last panel is slightly reworked from the original story in Tales #2, the rest is all-new!
