Terry Tornado is a super-powered ex-professional wrestler, and currently super-hero. Prof Madison is the resident genius scientist in my world, and Rodney her useless, alcoholic assistant (and boyfriend).

Sometimes, the auxiliary characters are almost more fun to draw than the main ones! These guys have had a long history in the BEHOLDER Universe, and sometimes have been called The B-Team!

Terry Tornado, former wrestler and part-time super-hero, first showed up in a short story in Journey Into Misery 3 and subsequently was part of the Singularity War in JIM 4, and helped defend the city as a spontaneously assembled super-team in Journey 5.

Mysto the Space-Wizard first appeared in Tales To Behold 1, where he tricked Armagedda into not obliterating earth.


Rodney Rabbit  is resident super-scientist's Prof Madison's useless assistant and boyfriend, and first appeared in Journey Into Misery 2.

Finally, there is Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, former super-spies and how free agents, who had their first appearance in a short back-up story in Tales To Behold 1.

All of them fought or at least appeared together in the Singularity War in JIM4, and fought as a team to defend the city in JIM5.

When you ask all-American super-heroine Terry Tornado what the most exciting moment in her life was, she'll tell you there are numerous times in her life that she felt very fortunate.

She'll of course mention the Miss Omniverse title, or when Earth was saved from the cosmic solution, or when she helped save reality itself.

But, it was winning her very first World Championship Wrestling Federation Championship during her active wrestling days, that will always have a special place in her life: "because of all the support from the fans". What a gal!

She appears in Journey Into Misery 3, 4 and 5.

Protectors Under New Management

Kate Kerrigan became Director of the government Department for Superheroics through a bit of luck, but she has proven her worth since.

After her predecessors’ two fairly unsuccessful attempts to form a government-sponsored super-team of titanic strength, she has put together a smaller team, but with some high-profile and quite popular heroes. This has boosted the Protectors’ popularity and the public’s trust in the institution.
