Captain Marvel

Tribute-Time!
This is the latest iteration of the Marvel character Carol Danvers, formerly known as Miss Marvel, Binary and Warbird, from the new series by Kelly Sue DeConnick, Dexter Soi and Emma Rios.

She takes up the name of Captain Marvel, and becomes a super-herione that female readers can actually identify with.

Iothera

 Tribute-time!

This is a character from the webcomic Iothera, which has some fun character ideas in a cool sci-fi world… and is very nicely drawn. Check it out!

Tales To Behold 3, Page 13: The Date from Hell

Well, that went well. Meaning, Armagedda is NOT amused.
Can Armstrong Fatbuckle, The Worst Man in the World, still turn it around?
The fate of the world is depending on his dating skills!

Jenny Everywhere Day 2013

My submission for Jenny Everywhere Day 2013:
For this year, I wanted to do something special, on a bit of a bigger scale. I've been doing renditions / homages to the many versions of our favorite public domain character for the past year or so, and now I decided to draw them all together. An extraordinary collision of various realities and universes! (Click to enlarge)

And here's a key where these versions are from:

Left side, from upper left:
The Crossover Thingie  by Mikael Oskarsson
Fan art for Plush and Blood: The Unstuffed by FesWorks
Holiday Pandemonium by Alex Hernandez and drawn by Andres Allocco
Ask Jenny by Zack Holmes
The Bare Pit, by Noodtonist
(notice the similarity to mine; are they the same???)
Nelson Evergreens version from his various Jenny comics
Jenny Nowhere from
Jenny Everywhere Chronicles by Benji Christensen and Scott D.M. Simmons

In the center is my version, from Tales To Behold.

Right side:
When Casting Calls, by Jason Frank, Art by Scott Wegner, Color by Lawrence Basso, Lettering by Jeff Powel.
P.S.I. / Crossing Over Worlds by FesWorks
Soulless Mate, written by Alex Hernandez, art by Scott D. M. Simmons
WcTV News / Webcomic TV / The adventures of JennyEverywhere by Christopher Shultz
Jenny Everywhere Infinite: QuarkTime by Gwendolyn Patton

Three cheers for these original creators, and for Benji Christensen and FesWorks for working so hard on getting the word about this great character out. Hope to see your version some day!

For more remakes of other people's Jennys, check out these previous posts "The Many Faces of Jenny Everywhere".

Tales To Behold 3, Page 10: Get On With It

Uh-oh, that's our cue to discretely look away– till next time!
Will Armagedda get out of this clunky space-suit? Will Armstrong trick her?
Come back this Thursday, to see more!

Alya – The last Child of Light– Fan Art

This is a loving tribute to the main characters from a new webcomic I recently stumbled upon: Alya The Last Child of Light.  It's by Raymond C Binger and Jesse Cihouski. You should check it out!

Tales To Behold 3, Page 9: The Greatest Accomplishment of Human Civilization

Captain Evening and Merv The Griffin are down, thankfully Jenny Everywhere got away.
But can this bold move from Armstrong Fatbuckle, a.k.a. the Worst Man in the World,
a.k.a. The Living Skeleton, save the situation? That would be ridiculous, right?

Our fearless heroes have been spotted, so they throw themselves at their opponents!
However, even their combined might seems not a match for Armaggeda!
