As faithful follower of our extraordinary exploits, of course you’ve recognized the heroic White Light, her daughter Jesse Brain, and the villainous Wicked Witch Alicia (her best frenemy). Admittedly, this page was drawn quite a while ago, when Jesse was still wearing her wicked vestments, and her hair a bit shorter.

You all know Terry Tornado, of course. Former professional wrestler and super-powered cheerleader, now super-powered part-time adventurer, part spokeswoman and fitness model with a sunny disposition, and all-around awesome participant in some of our greatest superheroic epics!

Wow, our latest chapter begins in some lofty heights!

Do you remember when Herakles himself was part of our periodic presentations?

Yes, it was during the final chapter of “Journey Into Misery (Book 5)! Very unceremoniously and abruptly, he and his super-teammates of the Mighty Protectors were dispatched of, by The Cosmic Solution.

Since then, the government has been trying to build successor teams, with varying success.

But an Olympian is not easy to destroy, of course…

To avoid false advertising, for all of you fans of Jenny Everywhere and Anywhere, we do have to admit that in this sequel, the baton of main protagonist is passed on to a few other of our denizens of the BEHOLDERverse– as we often like to do! But fear not, both of our spunky teleporting Open-Source stars will be appearing, and on the very last page, The Shifter herself will have to face a fateful reunion!

Disguised as tree and bush, the burglars were no March for climate change summer heat! And they gladly explained their agenda, in exchange for ample water and a spot in the shade. Who can blame them, not knowing the police had found their loot– they had been “in the slammer” for years!

We’re laying a trap for the burglars, and we’re laying in waiting, so there’s occasional for some hanky panky. Lady Venus, mother of jungle hero Kaza, is enjoying the fact that she’s the only lady in the Captain’s tent for the duration of the vacation.

It is summer in New York, and it is very hot. So it is time to get rid of all clothes and visit The Mighty Bares Naturist Camp! Please enjoy this little romp before we get back to our Anywhere storyline!

Mr Mighty, former superheroic mentor to Captain Evening, is the proprietor of the site. This time, it’s Captain Evening, Lady Venus, Burst Lion and Merv the Griffin who made the trip. Just like in real life, they are going through a heatwave. Thankfully, there is a pool…

And since we answered the last remaining question from this formative and formidable tale, we’re saying Goodbye for today, while we’re preparing the next mind boggling story! Expulsior !

As Merv the Griffin continues (together with Jesse Brain) to reminisce about his arrival on our plane of existence, we’re reminded how Jenny Everywhere saved the day in her very own, multiversal way. The rest is history!

Doubt of the Dreadful 10: First Encounter

We’re recounting what led to this very fateful encounter– for the first time! Again!

Merv the Griffin, summoned by Dr Brain, is on a mission to destroy Captain Evening, but he doesn’t know what a “Captain Evening” is! Fate had it, he smashed into the home of the very person he’s looking for. The Captain is too honest not to admit that he’s his target.

At that time, the intrepid Jenny Everywhere was around, too!

The last panel is slightly reworked from the original story in Tales #2, the rest is all-new!

Doubt of the Dreadful 09: The Doubt and the Dread

Merv’s quest becomes an odyssey. The best professional cannot deliver appropriate results without sufficient information! Alone in a world he never made, stuck with a task he seemingly can’t fulfill… our Demon of Vengeance is in a pickle!
