Continuing showcasing the many incarnations of this most intrepid open-source character, today's depiction is The Beholder's most humble tribute to Nelson Evergreens version of the character, the originals of which you can indulge in on his website.

His depictions of Jenny Everywhere aka The Shifter were amongst the most defining in the early years.

BEHOLDER Books now available for purchase online!

The day has finally come, all the handmade books that THE BEHOLDER has been creating over the past few years are now available for purchase exclusively through BirdCageBottomBooks.

Now the people of earth who have not been able to see the actual physical manifestations of these stories can finally get their mortal fingers on them. Since BCBB is also a distributor, the comics just might pop up in some stores outside of the NY area.

The Beholder at MOCCA Festival New York

BEHOLD! The latest book in the series is coming to earth this weekend, at the famous MoCCA Art Festival in the city called New York. Journey Into Misery 5 brings many revelations, some death and destruction, and many of the characters from previous books. The Cosmic Solution hits earth, and it is up to our beloved heroes to defend this planet.

All other BEHOLDER Books will be available as well, so you can complete your collection. Journey Into Misery 1 & 5 will even have limited variant covers, just like every other book in the 90s. As usual, the editions are handmade and each cover is a photocopy on colored paper, with additional color as block prints on them.
